The Research Of Ideological And Political Education Based On Student Affairs Management

With the economic globalization and open society, popularization advancing of higher education in China proposed new requirements for higher education. College Student Affairs management as an important part of higher education must be reformed and innovated to adapt to the situation and development.In China’s new stage of modernization, how to achieve comprehensive human development, how should students be educated and managed, is the relationship with the fundamental interests of the students and the major issues facing the college student affairs management. The student affairs principles of insisting on the scientific concept of development, holding on the view of people-oriented and students-oriented, enhancing service awareness, and insisting on the comprehensive development should be followed in the new historical conditions. And insisting on a comprehensive concept of development, promoting the comprehensive and free development of human is also the objective of ideological and political education training. It would be significant for students to develop in an all-around way that we implement the function of the ideological and political education as well as practice the role of student affairs which is the carrier of daily ideological and political education. The focus is to respect their dignity and rights to meet the reasonable intrinsic needs of the students,based on the individual characteristics of students and reality.This paper described the current team and model of College Student Affairs management, then analyzed status and problems of student affairs management playing the function of ideological and political education, and further analyzed the relationship between student affairs management and daily ideological and political education as well as the significance and function of ideological and political education in student affairs. On this basis, to propose several ideas to enhance the student affairs management:First, setting up the concept of students-oriented, strengthening the service consciousness and humanities concern; The second is to respect the rights and choices of students and to enhance the guidance of them;Third is to improve the professional level of student affairs management, enhancing the reality of ideological and political education; Fourth is to improve the construction of student affairs management organizations, enhancing the effectiveness of ideological and political education; Fifth, education and management should be combined..
