A Survey Of Current Situation And Measures On The Professional Quality Of Physical Education Teachers In Middle School In Xinjiang Production And Construction Corps

The questionnaire-based comprehensive survey on the professional quality of the physical education teachers in the61middle schools which locate in the14divisions and the regimental agricultural and stockbreeding farms in the eastern Xinjiang, northern Xinjiang and southern Xinjiang of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Based on the analysis of the stratified samplings and the cluster samplings, the thesis is likely to convey that the professional quality of the physical education teachers maintains the good developmental tendency.Through analyzing, it is found that Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps PE teachers’ profession exist the following problems:1. teachers’ should improve their moral quality2.teachers’psychological quality is not good3.teachers’ knowledge structures should be improved4.techers’competence structure should be improved5. Teachers’ teaching belief should be students centered.For the problems, the author proposed some suggestion:1.improving teachers’ treatment and position, stabilizing teachers’ attitude.2. Paying attention to teachers’ psychology quality improved.3. Strengthening undergraduates’basic knowledge taught.4.Cultvating teachers’research ability, and advocating teaching and research combined with each other and exploring creation.5.Cultivation teachers’ advanced teaching belief.The thesis is likely to comprehensively analyze the professional quality of the physical education teachers, in the hope of providing the theoretical and statistic support for the improvement of the teaching quality, curriculum setting and the development strategy of the concerned departments, and more importantly supplying the feasible proposal for the strategy to eliminate the bottle neck of development of physical education.
