With the enforcement of a new round of basic education curriculum reform of the courses and three levels of curriculum management policy, the school-based curriculum development has become an important topic about the development and reformation of present basic education. But influenced by traditional philosophy of education, old notion of curriculum as well as many other factors, a number of problems and difficulties are faced in the process of developing the school-based curriculum. At the background of multi-cultural in the Corps, restricted by the geographical environment, teachers and other constraints, the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps have more difficulties in carrying out their school-based curriculum development. Through combing the theory of school-based curriculum development, the paper is trying to find out solutions which can promote the school-based curriculum development in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps by empirical study.Firstly, this paper is based on the present theory related to the school-based curriculum development both in domestic and foreign, discussed the theoretical problems of school-based curriculum development about the related concepts, characteristics and basic procedures, ideas and values and so on. Then, taking senior schools in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps as investigation objects, to the main line of school-based curriculum development program, using the methods of questionnaire, qualitative, quantitative analysis, investigated the current situation in some aspects such as environmental analysis, course objectives, course organization, course implementation, course evaluation, analyzed and summarized the factors that affect the school-based curriculum development, summarized the problems existing in the process of school-based curriculum development and proposed corresponding strategy according to it to provide more effective and reasonable basis and recommendations for the school-based curriculum development of crops.Through the research we found that corps'school-based curriculum development in senior school is still in the initial stage at present. As influence by the teachers, students,educational and administrative departments,curriculum experts,community and parents, there are many problems in corps' school-based curriculum development for senior schools,such as:organization and management of school-based curriculum is not in place; having litter understanding of school-based curriculum; curriculum subjects are lack of awareness of curriculum resources, curriculum resources are under-utilization; curriculum subjects have the limited capacity of curriculum development; lack of effective support, guidance and cooperation; School-based course evaluation system is not perfect.Therefore, this research put forward corresponding development strategy according to the problems which are existed, for example:establishing a scientific and democratic system of school-based management; improving the course subjects'awareness of curriculum, strengthening teachers' school-based training; making the most use of curriculum resources, developing the school-based curriculum which have corps and school characteristics; strengthening multi-party exchanges and cooperation, to participate in school-based curriculum development together; establishing a scientific and rational system of school-based curriculum evaluation unit; improve conditions, reducing school difference between urban areas and the mission fields and so on. |
