Microblogging is one of the typical application of Web2.0technologies. In just six years, the Microblogging is developing very quickly, and also won a lot of education people’s attention. Along with the time development, the foundation of Information Technology is more and more obvious. Information technology course as a tool of learners, requests the teacher to change their concept of teaching, lead students to active learning, strengthen students’ innovative spirit and practice ability, make students to know how to learn and cooperation. In order to make this subject can quickly adapt to the requirements of new form and to education the modern information literacy of students, I decided to try to use the Microblogging auxiliary information technology teaching.This paper analyzes the feasibility of Microblogging used for high school information technology teaching through the analysis of the characteristics of the Microblogging and survey the situation of Middle school students use Microblogging. Guided by the Constructivism theory and the Multiple Intelligences theory out of the teaching practice, this research adopts experimental method and achieves further study and practice on the application of based on the Microblogging’s teaching project in Information Technology education of high school. And study how to use the Microblogging’s characteristics better for improve the teaching effect and students’ information literacy through this experiment.The experimental research contents include:the Microblogging whether can be used as a new platform for communication between teachers and students;"Vote" whether it helps peer evaluation;"the group of Microblogging" whether it helps collaborative learning; The accumulation of material through the Microblogging whether can promote the process-oriented learning, etc.The experiments were set five information technology teaching project based on microblogging’s, make full use of the microblogging’s all functions, for example, topic, vote, the group, private letter.Then summed up five advantages of Information Technology teaching with microblogging by collection and analysis the experiment data:promote information communication, rich learning resources, enhance the efficiency of cooperative learning, and benefit to the feedback and promote the learning process oriented.Finally, puts forward some ideas about education in high schools in the use of microblogging. Include combining open source microblogging system with open source learning management system like Moodle, and constructing social learning system, built-in function of microblogging, to strengthen the home-school co-education.
