The Research Of Teaching Situation And Resolution On The Girls Students’ Basketball Elective Course Of Some Universities In Shanxi

The research aims at analyzing teaching situation and resolution on the girls students’basketball elective course of some universities in Shanxi. On the basic of fully understanding of the latest ongoing update of P.E teaching reform in Chinese university,collecting the current successful PE teaching experience, the research also combines the task, destination and the main content of the current<Guidelines on PE course teaching in Universities>.After the continuous reform and development of PE teaching system, the universities of Shanxi have formed their teaching model of emphasizing the gender difference. Their PE elective courses have also been acknowledged and applied widely. There has poor foundation,rough content, simple teaching methods and unprofessional teachers. Focusing on this situation, this research tries to outline and analyze the negative reasons mentioned above, then combines the specialty of girls students and the regular pattern of PE teaching in order to implement the<Guidelines on PE course teaching in Universities> wholly, deepen the reform of PE teaching of the universities and provide the theory and practical guide for the Basketball course teaching reform.On the basic of analyzing and digesting the relative article of Basketball course teaching, combining the knowledge of Education, Psychology, Statistics and Physical Course of Universities with the methods of Literature Documentary, Interview, Q&A Survey, Figures and Logical Analyzing, I made the questionnaire "The research of teaching situation and resolution on the female students’basketball elective course of some universities in Shanxi" for the students and teachers in Taiyuan University of technology, Shanxi University, College of Yuncheng, Jinzhong College and Shanxi Medical University, Shanxi Agriculture University, North University of China, Shanxi Normal University, Shanxi Finance University. Then I understand the girls students’attitude and degree of satisfaction on the teaching model,methods and content of their schools deeply and got some conclusions as follow:1. These Universities have unbalanced ratio of girls teachers for Basketball Course and most of these teachers are in their young or middle ages having no enough professional training and research ability.2. The teaching methods emphasizing on the evaluation of Teachers in these Universities are too traditional to pay attention to the subject role of students.3. The female students who take the basketball course in these Universities all have strong interests. They wish they can grasp theory and skills of basketball, strengthen themselves and form the habit of doing exec ices regularly in rest of their lives.However they have different basic basketball level and their learning just limits on class for they unsatisfying with the teaching results and also influenced by the environment.4. Currently, the teaching environment in Shanxi university basketball elective course is very rich, but most basketball teaching locations are mud playground, besides this, students don’t have enough basketballs in class. That is why students don’t exercise frequently enough, and most of them can’t grasp what they have been taught in class, then the teachers can’t get the teaching effect also. In fact, the books and internet resource on basketball field vary and can meet the need of students.As to those situations, I suggest as follows:strengthen the building of professional teachers, adds more girls teachers, the teachers should update their own quality and teaching level, know more about students learning situation, know more about girls’psychology, focus on the aim of the teaching, perfection of class setup, teaching methods, organization formation; beautify teaching environment, such as enlarge the basketball playground, instruments, teaching setup, and PE financial support.
