Information is a tendency of the current world economic and social development,IT computers, multimedia and network technology for rapid development has broughta huge impact on the junior high school geography curriculum and teaching. Theintroduction of interactive whiteboard technology platform, make the organicintegration of the multimedia computer and blackboard function as a whole, constructa new type of teaching model. This article discusses to construct collaboration-interactive teaching mode to geography in the junior high school by mean of theinteractive whiteboard which is supported by modern information technology, andguided by Constructivist theory and Education and Communication Theory, thuspromote effectively change of classroom teaching, to achieve integration of IT andgeography teaching of junior high school of the overall optimization of the target. It isbetter served to the promotion of quality education services by geography teaching.There is a unique advantage in the application of multimedia technology intogeography teaching of junior high school, and geography of Junior high school has itsown unique characteristics which are in need of the powerful functionality of theinteractive whiteboard. This thesis base on lots of literature and teaching practice,explore the interactive whiteboard of collaboration-interactive teaching modeapplications to the geography in the Junior high school. To be specific, the detailedresearch and results are as follows.First, the author combed the course of development of interactive whiteboard,Clear reason and background which provides a convenient for other teaching workersas soon as possible to understand the interactive whiteboard;Second, it is surveyed and compared the advantages and disadvantages ofblackboard, writing whiteboard, interactive whiteboard. Comparison of threeInstructional media provides the basis for the optimization of the construction ofclassroom information technology;Third, researched interactive whiteboard of collaboration-interactive teachingmode to the geography in the Junior high school, this paper summarizes the specific applications: the functionality of the interactive whiteboard, discussion andcharacteristics of collaboration-interactive teaching mode which provide referenceand guidance for geography classroom teaching of junior high school.Fourth, the author proposed interactive whiteboard of collaboration-interactiveinstructional design of geography of the Junior high school under teaching model–assisted, and provides specific examples of instructional design and application.They provide a reference scenario for teaching quality and efficiency of geography injunior high school;Fifth, the author also pointed out that the interactive whiteboard existingdeficiencies and defects, and proposed a solution for the development of improvedand better to provide feasibility proposal.Finally, the author makes the outlook on the future prospects of the developmentand application of the interactive whiteboard.
