Empirical Study On The Impact Of Fitness Intervention On High School Students’Physical And Mental Efficiency

Abstract/Summary:
There is a close relationship between physical exercise and adolescent physical health. Senior high school is not just an important period of learning knowledge and skills, but also a critical period of the formation of positive attitudes, values, and robust constitution. Concerning about the high school physical health will make them maintain a healthy body, good psychological and social adaptability before them entering the university and society and also make them greatly benefit from the development of their physical and mental to make a greater contribution to the prosperity of the country. In this paper use the aerobic exercise intervention program to assess the impact of the high school of physical and psychological benefits, the results show that:1) In indicators of body morphology, the intervention program on height, weight, chest, and abdomen skin fold thickness index had no significant effect, but a greater impact on the arm, scapular skin fold thickness; if fitness program can appropriately introduce strength training, the effect will be more significant.2) In indicators of physical function, changes in lung capacity is quite obvious, before and after intervention of male and female, lung capacity was significantly increased (P<0.05); while before and after systolic and diastolic blood pressure of the boys and the girls was no significant difference (P> 0.05); if there are reasonable arrangements for the activity frequency and intensity,the effect of the intervention will become more apparent.3)In physical indicators, the intervention groups of male and female, physical indicators are rising, in them the Sit and Reach value-added increased significantly; prominent response capacity to enhance brain reaction time was significantly shorter; obvious upper body strength enhancement, chin-up the number increasing significantly; a significant increasing in speed endurance, boys 1000m, girls 800m race results improving significantly which indicating that the exercise intervention on the high school strength, speed, agility, flexibility has significantly improved.4) Fitness time and weekly frequency exercise have great impact on psychological benefits.If ach exercise can last 60-90 minutes or more than 3-4 times per week, high school students will obtain more prominent psychological benefits.5)In the five dimensions of psychological benefits, after the intervention the male and females’ interpersonal relationships, the plight of response to physical values, emotional experience, mood state, five average score was significantly higher than control group, the improvement in the factors of interpersonal relationship of girls need more time than boys; girls get higher score than boys in the body concerned factors, which may be related to the psychological characteristics of the girls; regular physical exercise has a positive emotional experience to raise awareness of life satisfaction, thereby to enhance self-confidence and being confidence in the life.
