Teachers of compulsory education shoulder the responsibility of fundamentaleducation of the whole nation. Nowadays, the reform of their pay system has becomea global issue. China began to carry out performance pay system in compulsoryeducation on January 1st,2009. As the world earliest country to implementperformance pay system in public primary and secondary school teachers, the UnitedStates has made positive exploration and practice in this aspect, whose successfulexperience and problems worth our using for reference.The introduction part is an introduce to the dissertation.
