The growing of the social life of information and economic globalization makes Englishmore and more important. English education in primary schools began to carry out acomprehensive, formed a boom. With this new trend, more and more English education tend toappear younger age, many kindergartens have launched English education, the kindergarteneducation of English education as an integral part of the content, and some even in Englishnursery education, bilingual education as a feature into the society. From the view of the currentstatus of English education to children, the pre-school worker has started to concern about thefield of English education to children. English teaching in China has been carried out for manyyears, and there are many schools and foreign language learning theory. But the practice of earlychildhood education research work in English is not enough depth and the overall popularity, there are still many problems. As a China educator of children, how to improve the quality ofteaching practice is the subject of my sources. The choice of teaching methods is no doubt has played a very key role in the effect offoreign language education .A century, language educators almost all focused on teachingmethods in order to solve the problem of language teaching. Canadian immersion education is aspecial language educational model, after 30 years of practice the teaching of this mode, it hasbear the fruit, and become the most successful model, provides the valuable experience for thesecond language acquisition. At present, bilingual teaching is becoming the focus of education reform in China, more andmore regions and schools have implemented or prepared to implement bilingual teaching. Someschools have achieved the initial success, but the implementation of bilingual teaching experienceis still shallow, it is necessary for us to learn from the successful experience of foreign countries, combined with China’s actual conditions, discussion of bilingual teaching with Chinesecharacteristics road. How to evaluate the immersion bilingual education? Since our country has the experimentof bilingual teaching, some Chinese scholars and experts for concerning about the bilingualteaching expressed a variety of opinions and views in the conference, broadcast television and newspapers published articles, essays and interviews. Since the immersion education in Canadahas enthusiastic response, we can’t help wanting to ask: 1.Can immersion education is realized inChina? 2. Is it the total immersion or the bilingual immersion? Is early or late? The first questionis easy to answer; China had implemented this teaching mode, mostly aimed are at the minorityarea. But what kind of immersion education should be used, there is no unified view. Based onthis, this study aims to explore the two language educations, whether the total immersion or thepartial immersion is more suitable for China? From September of 2010 to September of 2011, the authors was taking the 24 young kidsand 24 teenagers in Bestlearning subject English school in Beijing as the research object, usingtotal immersion and bilingual teaching to teach them English for a year, and at the end of the termtested by the United States Mcgraw Hill education group AECEPT and LAS-links examinationsystem on the for testing, full audio and video recording, with the United States headquartersevaluation. Evaluation results show that: for the young children’s group, total immersion childrenoverall better performance than the bilingual education of children, including listening, speakingand sentence three test results of the total immersion education are higher than that of thebilingual education; but, the score of the vocabulary of the bilingual education is superior to thetotal immersion group; for the teenager group, total immersion is slightly better than that ofbilingual teaching, which the listening and writing test results of the total immersion slightly arebetter than that of the bilingual teaching, the reading comprehension result of the total immersionslightly is be lower than the bilingual teaching, and writing, keep balance, but the author stillcarries on the observation and the stage evaluation , the results of both of the groups are almostthe same. That shows, the full immersion bilingual teaching for the teenager group has nosignificant advantage, and the author also make a bold guess, English teaching and the proportionof students age ratio curve distribution map, and the map is just a speculation, aims at to causethe majority of foreign language teachers education concerns and research direction on foreignlanguage teaching, and to improve the effect of bilingual education.
