Sports consumption is a kind of enjoyment and development consumption, generally speaking, the sports consumption level of economic developed country is relatively high. As the sports consumption presents the globalization, internationalization trend, China’s sports consumption also followed and obtained rapid development, sports consumption has become an important part of China’s modern life consumption.The research on the development of sports consumption gradually become a hotspot of the research. Along with the rapid and sustained growth economy, the improvement of people’s living standard of our country. On the foundation of meeting the basic living materials standard, people pay more attention to enjoy the pursuit of data and developing data,as a part of enjoyment and development consumption which is the combining of material and spirit,sports consumption is gradually accepted by people of all ages. Under the condition of market economy, a certain amount of sports consumption expenditure on one hand is the prerequisite condition of people’s participating in physical activity, and on the other hand is the Guarantee of the survival and development of sports, what’s more is the economy foundation to develop and grow the sports market and sports industry.Being in the progress of socialist modernization, china encounters enormous problems, which include not only the large population, the limited resources, the weak economic foundation and so on, but also the impact of the western developed countries consumer culture in the globalization progress. It is of important value to establish a rational national consumption model of sustainable development for both the economic development and the general augment of the quality of people, the cultural construction, the healthy operation of society and the environmental lasting protection. Sports consumption is one of the cultural consumption. To research its development history, background, rising reason and restraining factor, combined with finding out a clear clue, we can know the consumption pattern of the resident in a city from one side. At the same time, it can also provide an important reference for the establishment of a reasonable sports consumption model of sustainable development and a significant proof for the health and orderly development of sports consumption in our country at a macro level. With the enhancing level of consumption, the realm of sports consumption is gradually broadening, the consumption content is enriching increasingly, the consumption phenomenon is becoming more complex. So it is required that the settings of the consumption statistics indexes system can reflect the development and variation of the residents’sports consumption in time.This paper adopt the methods of documentation and questionnaire survey according to the proposed questionnaire, through the investigate and analysis about the consume status, carries out an research and both the horizontal and vertical investigation and analysis about physical culture and the related sports consumption behavior problems and the importance of cognitive of sports consumption about the citizens consume status in the nine district of Xincheng, Beilin, Lianhu, Yanta, WEiyang, Baqiao, Changan, Yanliang, Lintong and the four county of Lantian, Gaoling, Hu, Zhouzhi, based on the differences of consumne structure result of different age stage, occupation educated and income. Following a comprehensive, scientific, systematic, feasible principles and ideas, combining with statistical data,we give a comprehensive evaluation and analysis on these indexes eliminating th inappropriate factors, and select2first level indexes and10two indexes,a total of12final indexes as well as many three level indexes. Through these targets we draw the conclusion that the overall sports consumption of Xi’an city residents is still at the primary level and the index system remains to be further optimized; the main consumption remains on a direct involvement of the sports shoes and clothing; and the indirect involvement of ornamental consumer awareness is not enough, so the consumption level also has a very big promotion space.
