However, in recent years, the rapid development of higher vocational education, the physical teaching of vocational education has felt behind, especially the development of Higher Vocational Students’occupation sports and lifelong physical exercise habit has yet to be further enhanced, we all know the importance of sports when we talk about it, but still cannot avoid" talk about important, done minor, busy don’t" this tragedy. In order to keep up with the pace of development of higher vocational education, meet the training the overall quality of occupation talented person’s needs, vocational education must be adjusted to meet the new century talents needs in the education, training for the twenty-first Century society needs talents to ensure and realize the occupation of physical fitness,_Cultivating the lifelong physical exercise habit and service. The colleges and universities of Hubei province all gathered in WUHAN, the author tries to make a survey of part of Higher Vocational Colleges and universities sports teaching present situation investigation and study of Wuhan fund out the current problems and put forward suggestions for the higher vocational education in Hubei Province, sports development to provide reference.The data of present study came from ten of the20best Higher Vocational Colleges in a random sample of600students and86teachers (including sports department director) as the research object, using the method of literature, questionnaire, interview and mathematical statistics and other research methods, the city of Wuhan Institute of hysical education activities development situation, sports facilities, teachers, students, teaching classes such as sports participation situation was investigated, the conclusions are as follows:Main advantages:1, the ideology of physical education teaching outline clear, reasonable, the teaching content and the basic outline agreement.2, the status of teachers to get attention, reatment improved, the ratio of men to women is moderate.3, the present physical education development better, more popular with the students, students’ participation in sports studies with clear purpose.4, the boys participating in sports activity motivation is clear, extracurricular physical exercise initiative, enthusiasm is high.Insufficient:1, Wuhan city all higher vocational colleges sports teaching material use is not uniform, some schools still did not sport teaching material.2, sports courses not combined with school characteristics and professional characteristics, it is difficult to satisfy the interests of students.3, sports teaching method and evaluation of the single, lack of innovation; simple form without breaking the conventional placement.4, physical education teachers insufficient seriously, the old teacher proportion is too large.5, the lack of organization of extracurricular sports activities, did not form unified mode; and the girl to participate in the enthusiasm is not high, too few to frequency.6, the lack of adequate sports facilities and equipment, quality is clearly differentiated.7, the school leadership’s attention to sports strength is not enough, sports funding, funding sources.In view of the above situation, the author puts forward the following suggestions:1, make clear guiding ideology, teaching material, strengthening of the syllabus, teaching materials and curriculum research strength.2, improve the leader’s attention, the responsibility of each individual, to strengthen management.3, strengthen teachers introduction, improve teachers’comprehensive ability and the occupation moral, stablish" old" and" green" teaching management system.4, improve teachers ability promotion system, scientific research, encourage innovation.5, strengthen the physical education, do sports cultural propaganda, to carry out sports specialty classes or sports club, adopt a variety of forms of grouping.6, increase the stadium construction and maintenance, equipment purchase and update and sports funds and sources of channel development.
