Research On Instructional Format Of Multimedia Instructional Material Design

The four elements of instructional system contains the learners, the teaching model, the instructional material and its carrier. This paper elaborate the impact of these elements on the design of multimedia courseware and then refined the rules which is called teaching format that adapt to all the elements during the instructional process. In another word, the forcus of this paper is to construct the context with multimedia language in order to make the multimedia courseware to facilitate the use of teaching strategies,to Give full play to the advantages of multimedia to present the teaching contents and to optimize the teaching effect.This paper intend to describe the thoughts from the basis aspect, the format aspect and the application aspect. Firstly, the basis aspect contains some theories and rules. There are lots of theories provides theory basis in common such as the systemism, the instructional theory, the learning theory, the theory of instructional system design and so on. The three basic rules of multimedia design is the theory and ideology foundation to form the teaching format of multimedia courseware. Secondly, the format aspect is the content of this research in the paper. The main method to study the teaching format of the design of multimedia courseware is to analysis the four important elements of instructional system. Then the paper will discuss how to design the multimedia courseware to suit for each of element. Thirdly, the application aspect forcus on the usefulness of the multimedia courseware which is in accordance with teaching format. It can reflects the rules of the situation of match between multimedia courseware and the instructional strategies.The research of the match rules belongs to the category of multimedia because of the multimedia language. And the teaching format is the content of research of multimedia pragmatics.
