The Study Of New Campus Cultural Construction In Henan Higher Education Institutions

In the Directions for Enhancing and Improving Campus Cultural Construction in higher educationinstitutions jointly issued, in December,2004,by the State Education Ministry and the Communist YouthLeague, it is explicitly stated:“campus culture in higher education institutions is important section ofsocialist advanced culture. Enhancing the construction of campus culture construction is of greatsignificance to boosting the reform and growth of higher education, enhancing university students’education in ideology and politics, and improving, students’ comprehensive qualities.” And put forward to aseries of initiatives including “promote the construction of campus culture, strengthen the campus culturalenvironment construction, establish and perfect the campus cultural construction of safeguard mechanism".With China’s rapid development of higher education, reform of enrollment system, expansion of collegeenrollment, the upsurge of new university campus in our country appeared. Universities have built newcampus in order to ease the pressure of old campus in Henan Province. Most of the new campus haveestablished built for the lack of culture, leading to a culture hiatus in new campus of university. In this case,in process of the development of university new school district, the construction of campus culture isparticularly important.This study based on the principle of combining theory and practice, by methods of looking upliterature investigation, comparative analysis, conduct in-depth research and exploration for university newcampus cultural construction in Henan province. In particular, chose three universities in Henan Province,to carry out questionnaire survey for the culture construction on New Campus as well as comparativeanalysis, striving to achieve the real and effective results. First of all, some concepts are defined and explained in this paper on the new campus of the university campus culture, and the campus cultureconnotation and type are redefined to laid theoretical foundation of further study of university campusculture in the new campus construction. Secondly, this paper selects the Henan University, ZhengzhouUniversity, China Institute of water conservancy and Hydropower to carry out field survey, new campuscultural construction problems are reviewed and summarized in Henan university and the correspondingreasons were analyzed. Finally, in front of the foundation of Henan Province, This paper put forward to theunique insights and solutions in the construction of new campus, it is the focus of this paper and theresearch results of this paper.Hoping through this study, to give enlightenment for new campus established ort to be built in Henanprovince and in our country, providing certain guiding significance for the new campus culture constructionin higher education institutions.
