The rapid development of multi-media information technique has great influence on the modern mathematics teaching and learning.And the integration of multimedia information technique and mathematics course teaching and learning has been a tendency of domestic and international education reform.Besides, the multimedia information technique has been acting as a cognition tool in mathe-matics teaching and learning,by analyzing the use of the multimedia information technique in the mathematics teaching and learning, this passage tries to explain the advantages and improvements in adjusting the structure of teaching and learning mathematics, and updating their methods and mathematical thinking in the construction of mathematics knowledge.This passage guided by the theory of cognition study, constructionism and humanism is divided into five parts to analyze the significance of the application of the multimedia in maths teaching and learning on the basis of the integration of information technique and mathematics course by interviews, questionaires, documentry research and teaching cases analyses.The first part is preface mainly studying the background, significance, overview of documentary, content and methods of the multimedia information technique in maths teaching and learning.By studying the problems and efficiency in multimedia teaching and learning, collecting enough teaching and learning cases,both the teachers and learners can take the advantage of the multimedia to improve the efficiency in teaching and learning.The overview of the passage is to explain the research on the use of multimedia in teaching and learning.The content of the research is about the efficiency of teaching and learning by using multimedia by means of research in to documentary,questionairs,teaching cases and interviews.The second part are basic theories about cognition study, constructionism study and humanism,which are the guide lines of multimedia in math teaching and learning, with vivid pictures, graphs, authentic sound and rich presentation, the multimedia highly improve and practice the ability of mathematical thinking and calculation.The third part are about study strategies and teaching cases analyses,with the help of multimedia,the students are encourased to explore,construct.work in teams to learn the Knowledge of the Hyperbola and Ellipsoid.They not only master the characteristis and the relationships between the Hyperbola and Ellipsoid,but also truly understand the locus of the Hyperbola and Ellipsoid.The fourth part are researches about questionaire, interviews, achievements and problems to be solved.The result shows that the multimedia in deed improves the efficiency of mathmatical teaching and learning.Among105students from class(11) and class(12),10students are chosen to be taught by means of the multimedia. Finally they are found that their grades are highly improved and do much better than the rest95students.Thus the10students have more interest,confidence clearer goal and high efficiency in learning maths.The hyperbola and ellipsoid,with the help of multimedia,the students are encouraged to explore,cooperate and self study. They not only master the characteristics and relationships between the Hyperbola and Ellipsoid, but also deepen their understanding the locus from Hyperbola and Ellipsoid.The result shows that the multimedia do improve the efficiency of study math. Among105students10students are seleted to be taught by means of.The final parts concludes that through the combination of the multimedia information technique and mathematics teaching and learning highy improves the efficiency and capabilityes of teaching and learning in senior high school mathematics course. As well as put forward some problems and difficulties to be solved.
