Rapid economic development in nowadays increasingly diverse society, not only for the way of production and life of human society has brought an unprecedented shock, but also to the personnel training has brought a huge impact. To strengthen personality education, prompting the students to form healthy personality is the important mission of education in the new era. Language educators are to promote the personality education and adhere to the educational function of Chinese language education. Textbooks as an important carrier of language personalitv education, are nurturing and bringing up people played a crucial role. Play to the personality education of school textbooks selected text, to cultivate and improve young people’s personality has a significant and far-reaching significance. In consideration of the importance of personality education and the lack of Chinese textbooks in this subject research, this article from the personality psychology, educational psychology perspective, using quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of a combination of research methods, Selection of the People’s Education Press (PEP) school textbook "Language literature"(volume1-6) and makes a study of the Chinese textbook of personality training set of factors and levels, and based on this puts forward some teaching enlightenment. Specifically, the paper discussed the following four parts:The introductory part, the author expounds the origin of research, and reviewed the predecessor’s research of personality education, Chinese personality education and "language teaching material and personality", and clearly the research idea and research methods.The first chapter, the author based on the theories of personality psychology, educational psychology, is trying to buiid a junior high school personality training factor reference standard. This chapter lays a rheorericaj foundation for the following research and analysis.The second chapter, the author from "The junior high school students’ personality growing point and other personality factors" this two examine perspective of investigation and analysis. First, author uses the chart analysis the personality factors of the current PEP junior high school Chinese textbook; Secondly, the author carries out a concrete analysis of materials personality cultivation factors:1. Combined with the specific content of the selected text, independent analysis of the culture of the major personality factors;2.Analyzing personality cultivation factors of Chinese texts from the aspects of quantity and effect.The third chapter, author put forward some ideas for Chinese textbooks for preparers and Chinese teachers at the base of the relation between Chinese textbooks and personality construction. Ideas for Chinese textbooks preparers are:increasing the quantity of related personality cultivation factor’s texts appropriately; adjusting the internal structure of personality cultivation factors appropriately; improving the readers systems. Ideas for Chinese teachers are:the using and processing the texts of Chinese textbooks fully; practicing the text’s personality factors in practice; using the function of the readers systems fully; improving the Chinese teachers’ ability of personality cultivation.
