Research On The Relationship Between The View On Marriage And Love And The Perfectionism Trait Of The Female Postgraduates

As the permanent theme, Marriage and love have always been focused by people and researched by different experts, which serves as lifetime events of the young who have reached the legal age to get married. Meanwhile, as a form of social individual realizing social relationship of their own, individual marriage and love are directly influenced by view of marriage and love in present transforming period which has been exposed to mutual cultures. In terms of the generality of marriage and love and particularity of female graduates, female graduates’view on marriage and love has been evolved into an important issue and also focused by researchers. The sociology and demography have mainly researched the influence of external factors on the formation of view on marriage and love. This article takes female graduates as the object to discuss the relationship between perfectionism and view on marriage and love from a psychological perspective, which is expected to offer some tips for female graduates to realize themselves deeper and established more correct and reasonable view on marriage and love.Based on the Chinese version of the Frost perfectionism scale and the female postgraduates’love and marriage questionnaire as the research tools,260 female postgraduates from the colleges in the city of Chongqing have filled in the questionnaires, and then,243 valid questionnaires have been recovered. This study respectively from the view of sex, view of the roles of marriage, the choice of the marriage from subjective, marriage tendency, the motivation of love, marriage loyalty, marriage values to survey the view of marriage and love of these female postgraduate students. This paper researches the female perfectionism traits from five aspects:the worry about mistakes, the sense of order, parental expectations, personal standards, concerns of action. Through the data collection and analysis, the conclusion of this paper mainly includes:1.Female postgraduates’ perfectionism traits on demographic variables have significant difference;2.Female postgraduates’ view on love and marriage on demographic variables exist significant differences and interaction;3. Female postgraduates’ perfectionism traits and view on marriage and love shows a significant positive correlation, and the sense of order、personal standard and concerns of action in the female postgraduates’ perfectionism traits are in the regression equation of view on marriage and love.This paper consists of six parts. The first part is the introduction, introducing the background of this research; the second part is the literature review, summarizing the concepts and the research situation of perfectionism traits and the view on marriage and love; the third part is the research train of thought, introducing the research detailed procedures and methods have used; The fourth part is about the data analysis of the current features of the perfectionism traits, the view on marriage and love,and the relationship between of both, using SPSS statistics; The fifth part of the thesis is discussion, discussing the the statistical results in the fourth part to realize the value and significance of this paper. The sixth part is the conclusion part, summarizing this paper’s research results.
