The ceremony is an important area of anthropological research. School ceremonyis rich in moral education meaning as an unusual activity in the school daily life,:Moral education is the value proposition of the school ceremony, and the true valueof school ceremony lies in the implementation of moral education. School ceremonyis an activity that through the appearance of a series of symbolic symbol withmoral education meaning, to shaping the ritual context with significance of moraleducation in a particular time and situation. And thus play a subtle role of peopleinvolved, to the purpose of students’moral education.Although ceremony plays an important role in the school life and culture, inthe real the school field, school ceremony deviated from its original intentionfor various reasons, and is in an awkward position with some degree of alienation.This is mainly reflected in the following aspects: First, from the view of schoolceremony dominator, the school ceremony is moving towards politicization.Secondly, from the view of school ceremony structure, school ceremony has asimplistic problem. Thirdly, from the view of school ceremony process, the schoolceremony is moving towards formalization. Finally, from the view of the intentand result of school ceremony, the school ceremony is moving towards a game.The text attempts to think the value of school ceremony on education from theperspective of moral education to lay the theoretical foundation of the research.And then starting from a realistic point of view to have an in-depth analysis ofthe present situation and substance of the school ceremony, and then proposed theconditions and orientation to promote the school ceremony to return to its truevalue, which in order provide a useful exploration to solve the problems facedin the current school ceremony. To solve the above problems, the paper designeda total of four parts.The first part mainly introduces the reason to choose the topic, researchstatus in the worldwide, the ideas and methods of the study, and to define therelevant concepts.The second part,talking about the value of school ceremony on education to clear the importance of the research.The third part, pointing out the status and hazards of the alienation in thecurrent school ceremony, and then discuss the reason which causes the alienationof school ceremony in detail to clear the necessity and feasibility of the study.The fourth part: conclusions and recommendations. On the basis of the studiesabove, proposing the conditions and orientation to promote the school ceremonyto return to its true valueIn a word, under the interleaving of multiple contexts of the times ofglobalization, multiculturalism, post-modern moral education in schools facingserious challenges, but the school ceremony as an activity with function of moraleducation, the alienation of the school ceremony has no doubt hindering theeffective conduct of the school moral education. Therefore, to research theschool ceremony has what kind of value on moral education exactly in the currentenvironment, as well as the performance, hazards caused by the alienation of schoolceremony, and how to promote the school ceremony return to its value, which hasan important theoretical and practical significance in promoting the enrichmentand development of the moral education theory and moral education practice.
