| Subject construction, as a lifeline for sustainable development of universities, is astrategic work, which plays an important part for the long-term development for universities.With the constant development of popularization of higher education, local universities areconfronted with a new period full of opportunities and challenges. On one hand, theprosperous developing local universities are gradually becoming the main force of thehigher education, which plays an important role in the whole system and determines theoverall level of the higher education to a large extent. On the other hand, the localuniversities in developing areas are faced with more difficulties and challenges, so it isimperative for them to consider how to keep their own advantages and seek greaterdevelopment in the fierce competition. Therefore, the subject construction, acting as thestrategic core of higher universities, has been gradually put on the agenda and become thepowerful advantage to enhance the competitive power of local universities as well.At present, owing to the regional restriction and school history, many local universitieshaven’t moved on to the healthy development track in the aspect of subject construction andthey also have various problems in the recognition of the coordinated development andpractice of subject during the process of subject construction, which greatly influences thesmooth conduct of the subject construction for higher universities, thus restricting theirsustainable development.The thesis chooses the local universities as its subject, mainly discussing how do localuniversities construct the basic skeleton for the coordinated development of subjects, and how to promote the sustainable development of subjects. The thesis firstly defines somerelevant definitions of the coordinated development of subjects for local universities, deeplyanalyzing the problems existing in the coordinated development of subjects for localuniversities from both inside and outside, explains the coordinated development of subjectsby using the theory of educational ecology, and puts forward significant principles thatshould be abided by during the process of the coordinated development of subjects, whichmainly contains the following ones: direction and feasibility; adaptability and developmentalprinciple; key construction and characteristics; systematic and harmony. On this basis, thethesis mainly studies the strategies of coordinated development of subjects for localuniversities, and constructs the basic ways concerning coordinated development of subjectsfor local universities chiefly from the following five aspects: subject system, subjectdistribution, subject echelon, subject supervision mechanism, the combination ofproducing-studying-researching and so on.It is hoped that the study of the coordinated development of subject construction forlocal universities can provide useful suggestions to the coordinated development of subject,enrich the discipline rules of subject construction, and further broaden the theoreticalsystems of the subject construction for local universities, so that the local universities canfind their self-orientation correctly from a rational perspective, probe into the efficientstrategies of subject construction, and enhance their self-competition. |
