College life is a critical period of time for college students to gradually enter thesociety,during which they are moving toward independence,their thoughts gettingmature,with their views on life,the world and values taking shape.Once somethinggoes wrong with them at this stage, it will affect their lifelong development directly,which not only cannot guarantee their own growth, but also might endanger otherpeople or even the society as a whole. Currently, there are many problems with the“life”of college students, with the emergence of“short-board effect”in the life course,the severity of which might lead to misconducts. As the most direct and effectiveeducational methods and paths in colleges, curriculum, especially the ones on lifeeducation, are closely correlated with the issue of college students’life existence.Therefore, great attention should be attached to the curriculums on college students’life education, which ought to be incorporated into the main body of the university’seducational system.Firstly, this article attempts to interpret life from the ecological perspective.Thispart tries to illuminate the basic views of ecology, which includes the views ofintegrity and harmony, dynamic equilibrium viewpoints, interdependent viewpointsand so on. And then it analyses life from the standpoint of ecology. Life system is atypical ecosystem, which is also a complex and dynamic network system formed bysuch factors as living individuals, living groups, living environments and so on andtheir correlation, and during which different lives are interrelated and interact witheach other. Only in the integral, dynamic and interdependent relation system,can weunderstand and hold the essence of life in a more scientific way. In this sense,thisarticle establishes a system around life which takes life existence, its dynamics,itsvalue and right as the core.Secondly, questionnaires are made according to the analytical framework oflife’s theme system. Ten different types of universities and colleges in ShandongProvince are selected as respondents. Many problems with the college students’lifeare found out through this investigation. College students show a lack of reverencetoward life in their views of life’s existence; they demonstrate a perplexity over thespiritual transcendence in their understandings of life’s meaning; they confront adilemma over relationship reconciliation in their apprehensions of life’s relationship, which specifically include being difficult to adapt to the interpersonal relationship andapathy showed in social responsibility; they also show a deviation from themainstream values in their views toward life’s value; and an absence of civilizedmotivation is manifested in their knowledge of life’s dynamic; in the end, an essentialdisregard toward living rights is showed in their views of life’s rights. Furthermore,the author illuminates the real life’s basis of this curriculum and the importance ofimplementing it according to the analysis of many related problems from theperspective of the curriculum on college students’life education.Lastly, this article attempts to elaborate on the construction and implementingpaths of the curriculum on college students’life education, which believes that theconcept of the curriculum which characterizes harmonious coexistence and people’sorientation should be established; the aims of the curriculum which includeindividuals’life integrity, diversified natural world and divine life course ought to becreated; diverse curriculums such as specified ones, integrated ones, intangible onesand the ones specialized in activities should be developed; the contents of thecurriculum which demonstrate the life theme’s system, a combination of science andhumanism and caring about the present life and the ultimate pursuit of life needs to beformed; an open curriculum implementation which promotes dynamic integrationshould be adopted; a brand new structure in which multiple individuals are able toparticipate into the evaluation and which takes the integrity, process and life of thecurriculum into fully consideration should be formed,based on the adoption ofeffective evaluation of the curriculum; a protection to the curriculum in which everyrelated individual can join ought to be established, so that the enthusiasm of thesociety as a whole might be promoted. As to the implementation of the curriculum,the role of life curriculum should be clarified, proper status ought to be endowed;quality teachers need to be in position and a communication mechanism should bedeveloped; teaching techniques of the curriculum should be innovated in order topromote the development of the curriculum; a genial life atmosphere should becreated to advance the implantation of the curriculum; multiple supporting forcesought to be integrated to strengthen the effectiveness of education and so on.
