A Study On Modern College Students’ Attitude To Ideological Education

Modern university students, who are in their puberties, are a special group. They had hadlost the innocence and impulsion of childhood, but still has no a steady approach of thinkinglike an adult. Gradually, they walk out from the action and custom depending on their parents;learn to observe the words and deeds of themselves; keep their own attitudes and views to theoutside world; are full of the thoughts of denying and the trend of destroying. The ideologicaleducation workers in colleges and universities should aim at the specific condition of modernuniversity students, proceeding from the reality, basing on the students, following the growthrules of students, abandoning the traditional mandatory education of inculcating to thoughts,combining the theory of changing attitude to social psychology, adopting a proper new idea ofeducation, to create a new system of ideological education to face the phenomenon ofstudents’rebellious attitude extreme.Basing the reality situation of the North University of China, this paper did twoquestionnaires. The object is a group of 500 students. Through the analysis on thequestionnaires and the approach of discussing and visiting, this paper got modern students’attitudes and views to the ideological education, which was also researched by the approachof consulting the official statistical data and historical documents. Then the paper analyzedmodern students’psychology attitude to ideological education step by step. In a word, thispaper tries to find some rational ways for the colleges and universities ideological educationby the attitude theory of social psychology.Directed by the achievement of the Marxism of Chinese with persistence, using theattitude theory and proceeding from the reality of college ideological education in China, thispaper analyzed the potential conjunction point of the above two subjects and discussed thecombination of them detailedly to search the new idea of the college ideological education inChina.The detail arrangement of this paper: The part of introduction introduces the significance of this study, existing researches tothis domain, the meaning of the research and the research approach. The core discussion ofthis paper is three parts. The first chapter summarizes the character of modern students; thesecond chapter discusses the elements of modern college students’attitude change. The thirdchapter proposed six measures to change the attitude of modern college students to theideological education, by the analyzing of the investigation to the students in North Universityof China. The last chapter gives a conclusion to this paper.
