With rapid advancement of e-learning, various problems involved in the construction and application of information technology are beginning to come up. How to evaluate the practices of education informationization and analysis the situation and problems acutely is what officers of higher education have to think over. However, the evaluation field of education informationization has just begun, the research workers related to the evaluation methods and index systems are extremely rare. Furthermore the update cycle of informationization is so short that the dynamic characteristic increases the difficulty of evaluation of education informationization. So we need an evaluation model, which takes no account of specific technical platforms, organizational structures and teaching models, to guide construction and application of education informationization flexibly.In this article, the author firstly overviewed foreign and domestic researches on assessment systems of Education Informalization, and then introduced an assessment tools named e2M2 to overcome shortcomings and deficiencies of existing indicators.The e2M2 based on famous maturity model of software engineering. Secondly, we conducted a series of questionnaires and interviews with 12 cyber-education schools, and invite those interviewed experts to use and revise the elements of assessing system. Finally, we modify the e2M2 again based on the feedbacks of experts referred to earlier, and bring the final model forward. Meanwhile, with the feedback data, we could conclude the current status and deficiencies of Cyber-education Schools. After the research process, the author used an open-source platform named Limesurvey to design and develop e2M2 assessment Questionnaires. The system is aim to make full use of information technology in order to form long-term and effective assessment mechanism of education informationization. The author looks forward to increase the indicators of key practice items through cooperation between universities, and introduce the e2M2 evaluation model to the whole country. It could provide an important reference in decision-making and specific implement during the construction of education informationization.
