Research On Ideological And Political Education Of Volunteer Service

Ideological and political education is an important part of the higher education project. With the profound reform in China’s economic system, ideas and profound changes also have taken place. To face the new situation, new tasks and new challenges, ideological and political education must advance with the times. Under the guidance of scientific concept of development and the discover of new situation with activeness to activate the students in the new way to service for ideological and political education, in order to enhance the work effectiveness of ideological and political education.College students volunteer service as the ideological and political education of an innovation form and effective channels, more and more get the attention of the university. This article through the combining theory with practice, the literature study, questionnaire investigation, case interviews and comparison research method on college students’ ideological and political education of the volunteer service function for research.The volunteer service of university students has been highly appreciated and valued as an innovative form and effective channel of Ideological and Political Education in new times. This paper has studied ideological and political education of volunteer service by the way of literature research, investigations, case study and comparative study. This article consists of four main parts. The first section is the background and ideas, giving an overview of the development of volunteer service in China and the significance that brings to ideological and political education. The second part focuses on the concept of college students volunteer service. The characteristics of college students volunteering and the basic types of voluntary service are detailed. Meanwhile, the value of topic is described from both theoretical and practical aspects. In the third part, it’s an in-depth analysis on ideological and political education of volunteer service. In the four part, combining with current main matters of domestic university student in Baoding, I make profound analysis for the factors that limit the university volunteer service of ideological and political education. The final one is to promote the measures to realize the volunteer service of ideological and political education through limited factors, volunteer and volunteer organizition, non-volunteer and volunteer service. I hope I can provide some theoretical support for the development of voluntary service and expand the perspective of ideological and political education, providing some effective methods for ideological and political education of volunteer service in reality through this research.
