Contemporary College students are not only the human resources of our motherland, but also the Socialist builders and successors. They are responsible for their family and society, as well as themselves. Sense of responsibility is the key point for establishing correct outlook on life, values and world view. Ideological and Political Education is the basic and key way to cultivate the moral value. Contemporary college students have been a clear cognitive and rational behavior responsible team. They are in their important turning point in life of learning knowledge, cultivating moral, and completing personality. Whether they have the sense of responsibility or not, and whether it is strong enough directly influence that they are to be the backbone of nation-building and take on the task of national revival. Thus it is very useful to have a research on the responsibility of Contemporary College student, because it is not only helpful for their Self-improvement, but also useful for promoting the training of personnel. And it also has important Theoretical and practical value for the Social stability and building the harmonious society. Therefore, this paper is based on the theory of Young people’s ideological and political education, trying to discuss the cultivation of Contemporary College students’ responsibility in the following for parts.The first part:The intention, necessarily, and the analysis of cultivation for the sense of responsibility of Contemporary Colleague students. Analyzing and explaining this part, we can distract its meaning, also show it’s necessarily and emergency. Meantime, it analyses deeply about the new problems, new challenge what we face during this process.The second part:the basic contents and principles of cultivation of the sense of responsibility of contemporary college students. In this part, according to dividing the society roles and scales of sense of responsibility, we can analyses it form 4 aspects:the sense of responsibility for society, union, family and themselves. Make concrete analysis and come up with 4 principles. It has laid the foundation.The third part:the grades and problem analysis of Contemporary college students. According to the survey and problem analysis to cultivation of the college students’ sense of responsibility in Chongqing’s six universities, we got the concert condition of the sense of responsibility of today’s college students objectively, came up with the reasons and situation concerning how the problem came about, and laid the foundation to the following analysis and achievement.The fourth part:The polices of how to cultivate the contemporary college students’ sense of responsibility. This part is the end result of the whole passage. We have put forward some polices to deepen the scientific understanding of the cultivation of responsibility, after analyzing the reasons which showed the situation of college students’sense of responsibility at present from the third part. We have brought about some practical methods and measures, which aim at how to organize the classroom education, how to perform the practical training, and how to create the atmosphere, and these are the purposes of the article.
