| Education is a systemic project, which is affected by a country’s political,economic, cultural, social development and so on. Belonging to the cultural, theinnovation of education system and the educational philosophy will be under theinfluence of culture. In culture, there are both factors to promote the development ofeducation, and also factors that hinder its development. Therefore, analysis of acountry’s culture constitutes a great benefit for education reform and improvement.America is the first country to develop entrepreneurship education which shows agood development trend. It helps to cultivate a large number of high-qualityentrepreneurial talents and also brought about the rapid development of economy.However, it is a new thing which is developing much slower in China. Only to enter the21st century, Entrepreneurship education began to catch attention and get a certaindegree of development, and problems still exist in the introduction of advancedexperience.Therefore, select the unique perspective of culture to explore the development ofentrepreneurship education has a great significance. By comparing the different culturesof China and the United States, we expect to be able to find the key of the developmentof entrepreneurship education in China. The thesis is divided into four parts, and themain content of each parts are as follows.The first chapter is the introduction and literature review. The literature reviewconsists of three parts. Firstly, this section summarizes the overall situation ofentrepreneurship education including domestic and foreign. Secondly, combed theliterature of the Sino-US educational, cultural, and found the link between culture andentrepreneurship education. This section illustrates the topics of reason, the theoreticaland practical significance of the study, research ideas and research methods. Lastly, putforward the question and identify the theme of study.The second chapter is a comparative study of the entrepreneurial factor in Sino-US cultural. This section discusses in detail the American culture conducive toentrepreneurship factor and also pointed out that traditional Chinese culture containsmany harmful factors that hindered the development of entrepreneurship education.American culture which contains Puritan culture, immigrant culture, Pragmatism cultureand individualism, plays a key role in the great development of entrepreneurshipeducation. On the contrary, Chinese traditional culture is the culture grows out of theland, which emphasis on the values of collectivism, contentment and Smallholderideology. China’s traditional culture has useful factors to spur entrepreneurshipeducation but the main part does not encourage entrepreneurship.Chapter III is the comparative study of entrepreneurship education in China andthe United States. This section illustrates the current development of the Sino-USEntrepreneurship Education and pointed out the existing problems of entrepreneurshipeducation in China, Such as understanding discrepancies, lack of entrepreneurialatmosphere and not yet formed a comprehensive entrepreneurship education curriculumsystem and so on.Part IV is the Strategy of China’s entrepreneurship education. The traditionalculture leads to the slow development of entrepreneurship education. Therefore, TheGovernment should strengthen the policy and financial support of entrepreneurshipeducation at the same time should also attach great importance to expand its promotion,reversing the decline of an entrepreneurial culture, and encourage entrepreneurship inthe whole society to create and praises the social atmosphere of entrepreneurship.Colleges and universities should also be actively create a campus entrepreneurial culture,absorption of the favorable factors in the traditional Chinese culture, and constantlyimprove the entrepreneurial guidance courses, individualized, and gradually cultivate anopen, free, and adventurous entrepreneurial spirit. |
