In China,"raising children for old age" is a traditional concept since ancient times. With fast development of China’s aging population and rapid increasing number of groups who lost the only child, it becomes very important to solve the problem of elderly supporting in the latter half of their lives of single child-lost parents.Nowadays, China’s elderly supporting system is not perfect and there’re not many policies for groups who lost the only child. The problem of elderly supporting of parents who lost their only child can’t be fundamentally solved depending only on government’s subsidy and social elderly supporting organizations.All these proves that elderly supporting problem of single child-lost parents can’t be solved only by government policies and social organizations, and this kind of family elderly supporting mode of community care has more advantages. Meanwhile, it can overcome the problem that single child-lost parents face when they go to an unfamiliar environment and can’t adapt to it. It can solve the problems single child-lost parents face in elderly supporting better by allowing them to get the services from community in their familiar dwelling environment.
