Political Culture Construction Of New Socialist Countryside

Chinese Communist Party, in the fifth central plenum of its sixteenth session, adopted the Eleventh Five Year Plan on National Economic and Social Development which put forward the grand goal of building a new style of socialist countryside. She also proposed the guidelines of production development, affluent life, rural civilization, clean and tidy village and democratic management. And Democratic political construction, in which political and cultural construction plays a major and guiding role, is a key element in the construction of a new socialist countryside.The farmers, as the main force of China’s democratic politics, have a tremendous impact on China’s democratic political ideology because of their political cognition, political emotion and political beliefs. To guide the formation of farmers’ political ideology, we must speed up the construction of political culture of the new socialist countryside. We should realize the secularization of political culture to a certain extent can make the political system suitable for the farmers’ orientation, improving their political consciousness and political participation skills will allow them to participate in political culture construction independently, strengthening the party’s political ideological and cultural construction of a new socialist countryside can update the political ideology and the legal concept of farmers. For this purpose, we should stand on one’s own, pursue unremittingly, innovate bravely and explore courageously.This paper uses the Marx doctrine as a guide, absorbs and draws lessons from the related academic research achievements, deeply investigates and analyzes the political culture construction of the new socialist countryside, and puts forward the guiding ideology, basic principles and measures of political and cultural construction of new socialist countryside.The paper is divided into the following six parts:The first part describes the research background, the current situation and the research methods. The second part explains the connotation of political culture and the connotation and significance of the construction of political culture in the new countryside.The third part pointed out the guiding ideology, characteristics and objectives of political culture construction in the new countryside.The fourth part analyses the present situation and development of China’s political culture construction in the new countryside before and after the reform and opening-up.The fifth part puts forward the measures of building a new socialist countryside.
