Research On Swift Trust In Humanitarian Logistics Based On The Evolutionary Game Theory

More attention has been aroused by humanitarian relief because of the frequent disasters. Coordination and cooperation between the relief members has been an important factor for the rescue work in humanitarian logistics which is the core of the disaster relief. However, the humanitarian logistics as a disaster relief network is composed by many-temporary organizations and institutions which make up of many volunteers who comes from all over the world. The characteristics determine the rescue members almost do have no experiences, and lack of mutual trust, making the relief act reconcile difficult. The establishment of Swift trust can be an effective solution for the synergies of the humanitarian logistics with the difficult issues among organizations to improve the efficiency and quality of the rescue work. Therefore, in order to better understand the evolution of swift trust, research in how the swift trust establish and evolve, the development and the path of dynamic development process of the rescue team in the relief process has a great significance.Firstly, Analysis the definitions and characteristics and the factors concerning setting up the two kinds of trust through reviewing of the trust theory and the supply chain trust theory. Then pointed that the trust is actually a special kind of trust in humanitarian logistics which is swift trust based on the characteristics of humanitarian logistics. And clarify the definition, the characteristics and factors of swift trust in humanitarian logistics, after that presents an ultimate ladder-type evaluation approach to quantitatively the factors.Secondly, the trust will change with the rescue work developed, the member will adjust his behave according to network condition because of the bounded rationality, we introduce evolutionary game theory as the tool to analyze the condition in order to reflect the bounded rationality and dynamic process of the swift trust establishment. The trust evolution model is created under the conditions of symmetric information and asymmetry information. Using the Replicator Dynamics to establish the trust evolution dynamics equation by researching both cases, and analyze the trust stable strategy and the dynamic process of evolution of the rescue teams. And an experiment is proved by using Matlab programming. Finally, on the one hand, the role of NGO on analysis the relief work in China Wenchuan earthquake, and form the view of the trust, pointed out the problems in the NGO rescue work due to lack of the trust in Wenchuan earthquake; on the other hand, analyzed relief mechanism by comparing NGO of the United States in the Hurricane Katrina, pointed out that the lack of trust of NGO is one of the factors which impact on the differences of the efficiency between China and USA. Then, come up with the relevant recommendations to promote the evolution of relief organizations to swift trust.
