Although China, which had moral civilization for thousands of years, has beendeveloping rapidly in such aspects as economy, technology and culture, do has many moralproblems and faces with ethical dilemmas. This phenomenon makes us have to reflect on thecurrent moral education in our country. Attaching great importance to the morality is thetradition of the chinese nation. The effective moral education mode which formed by theancient chinese gentry had important influence on the traditional moral system. This paper tryto analyze the the characteristics of the chinese ancient gentry’s humanization and get theenlightenment to the current moral education.This paper has three parts. The first part is about the nature of the ancient Chinese gentry,first of all, define the basic meaning of gentry. And through the interpretation of the gentry’seconomic basis and political structure shows the social attribute of "contacting the official andfolk".The second part discusses the characteristics of ancient Chinese gentry’s humanizationfrom three aspects. The first is the characteristic of the education subject, mainly includingtwo aspects which is the dualism of humanization right and the humanization consciousnessas autonomous group. The second is the characteristic of education content, including thetheory of goodness and the formation of the confucian ethical code of ethics. The last is thecharacteristic of education way, mainly having the dual instruction of the state and societybear approach and highlight weathering characteristic two aspects.The third part, in view of the current moral education’s problems and challenges inChina, gets the enlightenment from the characteristics of ancient Chinese entry’shumanization. That is to say, playing the efficacy of the consciousness of autonomous groupsin moral education, establishing national core values and internalizing man’s innerconsciousness, reconstructing society and playing the efficacy of society in moral education,constructing the mode of life school moral education.
