Research On The Integration Of Civic Education And Ideological And Political Education

With the development of market economy and democratic politics in China, traditional didactic methods of ideological and political education has become increasingly unsuited to the actual of education and its limitations become increasingly highlights. At the same time, civic education in Western countries has made remarkable achievements.Therefore, it is urgent necessary to strengthen the research of civic education in Western countries and to learn from its Experiences.This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is mainly to study the concept of citizen and civic education.Analyzing of the concept of citizen from political science, jurisprudence angle. Secondly, analyzing the prominent features of its civic education.Then, sunning up the conclusions that ideological and political education in China of the in different stages.The fourth part is the focus of this article. Firstly, demonstrating the need for the implementation of civic education from the three parties, namely the development of the political and economic development in current China, rich the Marxist theory about human freedom and comprehensive development,the need of enhancing the effectiveness of the ideological and political education. Following,according to their essence of consistency, complementary nature of the content,method reference, demonstrating its feasibility.At last, summing up the method that establishing a new educational concept, increasing content of civic education,introducing teaching methods into integrating ideological and political education, the civic education with ideological and political education in China.
