Analysis On The Protection Of Rights And Interests About Landless Farmers

Landless farmers represent the marginal groups, whose land has been assessed inthe process of urbanization. Recent years, with the construction of the new urbanareas, there has been an amazing increase in the speed and scale of urbanization, butthere has also been more and more violations on the legitimate rights and interests ofthe landless farmers, so that intensified the contradictions among the officials and thepublic, and to some extent affected the construction of a harmonious socialistsociety. This thesis has been exploratorily researched from a legal point of view andbased on research reports about what rights of the landless farmers have been violatedand the causes and solutions of violation. This thesis has been divided into thefollowing three parts: The first part, current situations of damage to the rights andinterests of landless farmers. Mainly includes the following four aspects, namelyviolation on the right to know of landless farmers; violation on the right to participateof landless farmers; violation on the property rights of landless farmers; and the lowemployment rate and a reduction in income of landless farmers. The second part, thereasons of damage to the interests of the landless farmers. Mainly includes thefollowing four aspects, namely the government’s abuse of public power; the poorawareness of rights protection of landless farmers; the lack of judicial remedies; anddifficulties of re-employment of landless farmers. The third part, the proposals onprotection of rights and interests of landless farmers. Mainly Includes the followingfour aspects, namely constrain government authority; enhance the awareness of rightsprotection of landless farmers; improve the judicial remedy; and perfect theemployment security mechanism.
