The forensic science and trial system, evidence system and judicial systemare closely linked, as part of the judicial system in China, not only with the demands ofits justice law, neutrality, objectivity, and basic properties shall be coordinated withChina’s evidence system, regardless of its involves judicial expert witnesses, the forensicscience institutions and appraisal principle, method, standard etc all need to strictlycomply with relevant laws and regulations. China’s judicial identification with threeprocedure since2005, released by the NPC standing committee concerning theappraisals management made the decision after the substantive reform, formed ourcountry’s existing judicial appraiser, forensic science institutions and forensic sciencesystem. This paper firstly expounds basic forensic science, including the definition andconnotation of the forensic science, judicial appraiser introduction and classification, theforensic science institutions at home and abroad is introduced and classification, theintroduction of forensic science type in China. Secondly, this paper introduces theforeign the evolution of the forensic science system, including the continental lawsystem country powers doctrine mode and countries of Anglo-American law system,and the expert witness system was introduced in the forensic science systemdevelopment and the present situation, including identification of the application, decide,appraisal organization selection, entrust and forensic science system of appraisalSuggestions.
