Marxism Equity View And Its Contemporary Value

Equity is the pursuit of the fundamental values and standard of behavior with eternal significance since the human society began. The scholars, ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign, have undertaken a large number of addresses. With an enormous change in political, economic, cultural and other aspects, social equity are also increasingly being put on the agenda since the reform and opening up in China. However, people have yet to reach agreement on the equity. This article intends to start with original works of Marx and Engels, and carefully combs and mines the outline and the essence of the equity theory of Marxism to reveal the main elements of the Marxist equity concept, its implications for the socialist modernizing construction of China and the contemporary values of the construction of the harmonious society. This article is divided into four sections:the first section briefly discusses the origins of the equity and the realistic basis of equity which we study. The second section deals with the background of the formation of the Marxism equity view and dialectically examines the historical development process of Marxism equity view. The third section focuses on the main elements of the Marxism equity view from the general contents of Communist equity, the ways to realize the equity, and the ultimate goal of equity. The fourth section focuses on the contemporary value of Marxism equity view from both theoretical and practical value to reveal the directive significance of the Marxism equity view on the formation of the Socialist theory with Chinese characteristics as well as the modernizing construction of China.
