The Research Of Difficulties Of Urbanization Of Migrant Workers And Countermeasure

The problem of migrant workers is an emerging group of the rapid development of China’sindustrialization and urbanization process. At the same time, it is also a new concept in thedevelopment of the world’s industrial history. The so-called migrant workers refers to theworkers who are engaged in non-agricultural industries and still retain the the farmers identity.Due to the special circumstances of our country, China, not like the other Western industrialcountries who made a further transfer of labor, has a large number of migrant workers, and thedevelopment of economic theory and our experience shows that, in order to solve such a hugeissue of migrant workers, the most fundamental way is to realize the urbanization of the vastmajority of migrant workers. This will not only help to increase farmers’ income, to adjust thecountry’s industrial structure, but also conducive to maintaining social stability and harmonioussociety. However, urbanization of the migrant workers is facing a series of obstacles, includingboth institutional factors and the individual quality factors. Thus the process of urbanization isstill slow. For the various obstacles mentioned above, this paper analyzes solutions of thisproblem.This article begins with these aspects: the first part is the background of the urbanizationand the research about it. The second part is the definition and the necessity of urbanization. Iwant to talk about the wish and the advantages about it. The third part is the status and obstacle,and I pay much attention to deal with the obstacle. The forth part is the system and ideas ofurbanization. Researchers on these issues, we could recognize the need and the ways of theurbanization. At last, we could understand the actual reference value about urbanization.
