Government procurement is an important content of the socialist market economy. Therefore, the credit construction of government procurement supplier is not only conducive to the standardization of the socialist market economic order, but also good for helping the whole society to form a good atmosphere that values credibility. There are many problems in the credit construction of suppliers in China because of the Legislative lag. There are not uniform standards for the credit construction of suppliers,For examples, the evaluation criteria are not uniform; the evaluation of the subject is not clear; the evaluation process is confusing; the policy of reward and punishment is also not uniform. The local governments do not cooperate with each other:they do not share the credit information, their policies of punishment are different, and their credit relief systems for the suppliers are imperfect. These problems are affecting of the effect the construction of supplier credit. In addition, there are not many articles on the laws of the supplier credit construction. The existing ones only focus on the construction of the credit file. To standardize the supplier credit in the government procurement, the evaluation system of the government procurement of supplier credit must be improved. The appropriate incentive and penalty mechanism should also be used to secure the effect of the construction of credit. Of course, in the process of building suppliers’credit, the legitimate interests of the suppliers should also be protected.
