The Research Of China’s Rights Protection Events In Internet

China has been connected with internet in1994, with the development of internet technology and the popularity of internet, the group of netizens begins to take shape. In1998, Indonesian Chinese exclusion events was broadly reported in internet. In2003, the report of Sun Zhigang events caused a great response in internet and started a wave of rights protection in internet. Later on, Peek-a-boo events, The Coolest Nail House events, Wronged real horse events, Li Gang events has been fiercely discussed in internet in succession. From now on, the rights protection in internet gradually step in mature development phase, and has its own characteristics and development tendency. Its realistic effect is also highlighted in people’s daily life. The rise of the rights protection in internet has reflected the wake up of citizens’ civic awareness, and rightly makes up the deficiency in democratic public opinion’s constriction. Nowadays, the rights protection in internet happens frequently, internet has become a new area for people to show their opinions. However, it is obvious that because of lack of effective guide and regulation, there are some problems in rights protection in internet. Expand of network very group, false report of the rights protection in internet has resulted in negative effect in people’s daily life. Thus, the rights protection in internet is a double-edged sword. How to use the rights protection in internet properly to convey people’s views is an essential task at present.The objects of this study are the rights protection events in internet of near10years in China. As to research method, this study uses qualitative element analysis method to conclude and summarize the information of rights protection events in internet of near10years. Besides this, the study combines the method of literature search to discuss the characteristics and cause of it. Moreover, the study see the rights protection events in internet as a social movement, and uses rational choice theory to discuss rights protection in internet. Writers hopes to know the status of development and the cause of the rights protection in internet through the study. Thus, writers can survey the problems of social structure at the macro level and provide some references to purify the network environment for public opinion.The result of the study shows that the current status of the rights protection in internet’s development is that the more developed the area is, the more frequently the rights protection in internet happens; the less fortune and lower status the people own, the more likely the people become victim of the rights protection in internet; the livelihood issues as conflicts between police and citizen, sex and marriage, food safety, traffic accident are the focus of the rights protection in internet. The route of transmission is mainly from traditional medias to internet medias, then, back to the traditional ones;At present, there are some problems of rights protection events in Internet, that is inaccurate reporting of news, irrationalism of rights protection group, unscientific guidance of public opinion,utilitarian of network opinion; In addition to this, according to rational choice theory, supply of resource, support of society, advantages of network, psychological need of citizens are chief causes of rights protection in internet. Thus, in order to reach the goal of purifying network environment, we should firstly realize the current status of network’s development and focus on citizens’ social needs, then to strengthen moral construction of network, perfect legal regulation and establish country-people common management.
