Orientation And Transformation Of Assistance Station In Rescuing Street Children

In the past years, our government and some corresponding social organizations doexploration and practicing of the street children in rescuing and protecting them, thesituation and the conditions have been greatly improved. With the development of society,the new situations and new problems also will be highlighted. The assistance station hasmade a significant contribution on the children aiding and protection, highlight thehumanitarian concern. But in the actual rescue activities, the station’s work does notachieve the expected results. The single work mode and work ethic of the one-sided justcompleted a minimum standard for Rescuing Street Children.Insufficient of utilization rateof material resources caused the gap between ideal and reality, for pitted children’sdevelopment and physical and mental care is not put into practice. These actual existfactors hinder the children really return home, return to the society, caused the high rate ofrepeat straying.In this paper, author use case interview and survey research, combining with theauthor’s profound experience and insights in Suzhou salvage station, investigate and togather statistics of related data, analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the Suzhourescue mode. Summed starting from the macro and micro level, and propose specificoperating strategies, explore Suzhou assistance station’s street children salvage protectionwork to improve and enhance again.
