An Analysis On International Coordination Regime Of G20

G20is the result of the two financial crises. As a new global economic governance regime, it is still in the primary stage of development. After Southeast Asia financial crisis and the global financial crisis in2008, its status and function has strengthened gradually and it has become the main platform of Global economic governance instead of G8. it has played an important role in this global financial crisis,which means Initial success of coordination of the developed countries and the developing countries. This thesis is composed of five parts.The first part mainly introduces the background and the course of the G20. the two financial crises is the direct cause which make G20become the main global economic governance platform, but actually the real reason is the diversification of International configuration. International economic power structure Changed, and then promoted the G20production. G20experienced the Initial Period of Coordination regime of Informal finance ministers and central bank governors meeting and the development period of summit dealing with the global financial crisis.The second part discusses running model and promising future of G20. G20is a loose Coordination regime with low degree of institutionalized. On the one hand, it has a higher degree of representativeness and openness; on the other hand, it also has internal divisions and broad issues which are bad for its development. Now G20needs a further reform that how to coordinate with non-member states and G8and how to take the path of institutionalization.The third part analyzes the achievements and the influence of G20. G20which reflects the change of international economic structure effectively control the spread of the financial crisis and development, promotes the cooperation of the developed countries and the developing countries, and provides a new channel for the developing countries striving for their right, which improve China place in the global peaking order and promote the development of international economic and political order.Finally, the thesis analyzes the relationship between China and G20. Nowadays,China has played an important role in G20based on its rising economic strength. The world needs China and China also need G20to promote itself. In the future, China should take the following measures:First of all, China should adhere to the principle of balance between rights and obligations and safeguard interests of developing countries; In the second place, China should promote the development of G20actively and make it become the real main regime but not the G8dependency; Finally, China should strengthen cooperation with the developing countries and push for a new international political and economic order.
