The human society has always been an integrated group structure.As a special group,blind people has account for a large proportion.Due to the impact of physical disability and the external environment,they lost the colorful life and the freedom of space. Yet,walker products are far from being able to meet the needs of the target user in the market,and related product design is still in its infancy. With the development of barrier-free design and upgrading of the attention of the community for the blind groups, the product design for blind people is traveling at the same time. Improving the quality of life for the blind, as well as, expecting to be able to help them maximize the realization of their social value.With the entitle of the "blind mobility aids, barrier-free design" paper, choose the research of assisting the blind walk, and effectively solving some practical problems in the travel.Mining the existing products and the inadequacies of the blind mobility aids, summary the development directions and specific design principles of barrier-free designThe main subject of the following components:The chapter I Is the introduction. The main objective of the research background, research contents,research methods and significance;The chapter2focus on the anthropological characteristics of the blind group and social life, analysis of the state;The chapter3is an overview of the barrier-free design and development of the status;The chapter4is the analysis of blind mobility aids, barrier-free design, analysis, analysis of existing products,summed up the blind mobility aids, barrier-free design of the product development direction and design principles to guide the final design practice.
