15-17century is the eve of modern civilization of England, and it gave birth to the modern civilized society and legal system. At this time, equity law became the rival of the common law and this far-reaching impacted on future generations.Equity law sprout in common law cases in12-13century. In15th century when common law became rigid, equity law became an important means of dealing social contradictions by its flexible and easy to apply. However between equity law and common law was the competition of natural law principles and the principles of positivism. Based on the early development of equity law, I will show you the rise and fall between equity law and common law.
