Research On The Inner-party Democratic Culture Of The Communist Party Of China

The inner-party democratic culture is an emerging research area with thecombination of political culture and inner-party democracy. To strengthen theinner-party democratic culture is an important guarantee for perfecting theinner-party democratic system and an important content of developing theinner-party democracy and promoting the party’s construction. As a special kindof political culture phenomenon, the inner-party democratic culture refers to thegeneral party members of the Communist Party of China in the party’s life haveformed democratic orientation modes, basically contained with the democraticcognition, the democratic attitude, the democratic emotion, the democraticthoughts, the democratic styles of behavior and the democratic values and so on;it has such remarkable features as being characters of political party, historicalheritage, the advanced, equality and dominance; it consists of four-layer structures:the inner-party democratic psychological culture, the inner-party democraticideological culture, the inner-party democratic behavior culture and theinner-party democratic value culture; it has four functions such as guiding theparty members’ behavior, shaping the party image, enhancing the cohesive forceof the party organization and realizing the value recognition, etc. The party’s threegenerations of leaders such as MAO Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemincreatively combined Marxist basic principles with China’s concrete practices,have made great development achievements of the inner-party democratic culture.However, in reality there are also psychological culture dilemma, ideologicalculture dilemma, behavior culture dilemma and value culture dilemma, etc. Basedon the principle objectives and tasks of the inner-party democratic cultureconstruction, we can take the following practical feasible development path: tostrengthen inner-party democracy psychological culture identity, to richen the inner-party democratic ideological culture contents, to broaden the inner-partydemocratic behavior culture space and to condense the inner-party democraticvalue culture consensus. In short, the inner-party democratic culture is the soul ofthe inner-party democracy, so that to strengthen the inner-party democratic cultureconstruction is the important task and effective way.
