Harmonious society and sustainable development are cleartheme of this era, but the crime is a major factor to hinder the socialstability and harmony. Therefore, the stability of society isinseparable from the crime prevention and control. Criminalactivities directly threaten the people’s personal safety andstability of society, people are concerned about it and strive tosolve this major social problems, so it is particularly important forthe prevention and control of criminal activities.Criminal geography is a cross-disciplinary science of thecriminal behavior and geography, the geography is involved incriminal activities, it opened up a new field of social geography, andgradually formed the crime geography, it is a branch of the socialgeography.As early as the forties of the 19th century, Western countriesbegan to study of the criminal geography, and formed a lot ofvaluable research results, these results played an active role inmaintaining social stability and effectively combating crime. But,the domestic academia hasn’t to establish a real system of criminalgeography, this isn’t commensurate with the arduous task ofmaintaining social stability. In view of this, I would like to utilize theabroad theory of the criminal geography, take the example of Jin Cheng city, I want to research criminal rules and the causes of JinCheng city from the perspective of the criminal geography, andreveal the relationship between crime and geographicalenvironment, at the same time, put the ways and means for crimeanticrime of Jin Cheng city.This paper is divided into four parts, the first part of the thesisadopts the summary induction, definition method, literatureanalysis of the domestic and foreign criminal geography researchstatus and basic theory are summarized and analyzed; second partadopts the chart method, statistical analysis method, the surveydata of Jincheng City criminal law are analyzed; the third part usesummary method, logical method of Jincheng city crime reasonwere analyzed; fourth part adopts the method of combining theoryand practice, logic reasoning method based on the Jincheng CityCriminal Law and formation cause analysis, put forward Jinchengcity crime prevention advice.Studies have shown that: city of Jin Cheng ’s crime has obviousquality of regional, social and times. Criminal rules, the location ofJin Cheng city, the region’s political situation, the level of economicdevelopment, historical basis and the natural environment was aclear relationship.
