In the20th century, with the tide of integration of Chinese andwestern, Chinese artists began to re-examine their artistic direction.So in traditional Chinese painting itself appeared Pan Tianshou,HuangBinghong, Li Keran, Fu Baoshi moderate reformers master. Alsoappeared Lin FengmianXu Beihong and GuanLiang who advocated thecombination of Chinese and western. In their guidance, a new reformrevolution of Chinese painting began. Represented by the Guan Liang andLin Fengmian opera figure painting.Not only make up for the lack ofChinese paintings on theme, their bold attempt in opera figure painting,will also be the integration of Chinese and western a big step artforward. Because the drama itself is a highly concise and stylized artform,connected with traditional Chinese painting, such as virtual,exaggeration, freehand brushwork in traditional Chinese paintingnature, so it is very beneficial to get rid of the bondage of realisticpainting, Chinese painting on the basis of an art form to completeanother exploration of art forms. On the basis of an art form thisexploration still has important reference value even in modern art circle.This paper the Chinese opera art with the art of Chinese paintingand aesthetic characteristics of convergence, based on the history ofChinese opera draw contemporary Chinese opera figure paintingdevelopment and inheritance of the carding process. Compared toindividual Chinese opera figure painter in the artistic conception ofChinese painting and commonalities and differences in art practice, toexplore the cause of the current situation of the development ofcontemporary Chinese opera figure painting. Conclude that Chinese operafigure painting’s influence on contemporary Chinese figure paintingcreation.
