Tongcheng School of Qing dynasty is the largest literary prose genre that had a lot of authors, the large scale impact and the length of survival, which are rare for Chinese literary history. For Tongcheng literary research focuses on the aspect of theory, which more than the Chinese education research of Tongcheng School, This paper attempts to study systematically and induce the Chinese education activities and thoughts of Tongcheng by education of Chinese perspective for Tongcheng school which represents by Dai Ming-shi, Fang Bao, Liu Dakui, Zeng Guofan, Wu Rulun, and others. Drain educational thought essence, rich the study of Tongcheng School, provide some enlightenment to today’s Chinese education.This dissertation’s study object is the Chinese education of Tongcheng. The main body part is divided into four chapters.Chapter1:the Chinese education activities of Tongcheng school. The three sections of this chapter discusses the Chinese education activities of Tongcheng management from the academy of Tongcheng Chinese education activities, Tongcheng school education activity, the family Chinese language education and the evolution of Tongcheng school education. Chinese education activity discusses the academy of Tongcheng Chinese education activities which represents by Dai Ming-shi, Fang Bao, Liu Dakui, and others. Family educational activities with Chinese learn form separate and division. Tongcheng school language education evolution summarizes from traditional Chinese education of Tongcheng to modern Chinese education, performance with Zeng Guofan and traditional Chinese education’s breakthrough, Wu Rulun and the transformation of modern Chinese education.Chapter2:Tongcheng school reading teaching. This chapter summarizes the Tongcheng school language teaching content, Tongcheng school reading textbooks and Tongcheng school of Chinese language teaching methods. The teaching contents have historical-biography literature tradition, eight people of tang-song and Gui Youguang’s prose; Reading textbooks have FangBao’s "Summary on ancient prose", Yao Nai’s "Anthology of the Old Literature"; Zeng Guofan’s "Classical Masterpieces". The reading education method is mainly highlighting and comments the note.Chapter3:Tongcheng school writing teaching. This chapter discusses the view of Tongcheng school writing teaching. Writing teaching content, writing teaching method and writing teaching effect. The view of Tongcheng school teaching writing is "righteousness principle, textual criticism, rhetoric". Writing teaching content including prose writing and Eight-legged essay writing. Mainly uses teaching methods of imitation and creation, teaching in class and extracurricular. Simultaneously the thesis teaching has had t-he very tremendous influence, like the Tongcheng native place humanities are strongly fragrant, and it inherit in the home and the overseas.Chapter4:the reference by Chinese education of Tongcheng school for contemporary Chinese education:Taoist temple of Chinese education in Tongcheng school,the diversification of teaching forms, Tongcheng school of writing teaching "Righteousness principle, textual criticism, rhetoric", and Tongcheng school reading teaching request reading a lot, profound and skilled.The basic method of this paper is historical materialism, literature research, and historical comparison method, etc.As the first article Tongcheng school language education studies systematically, this article attempts to elaborate comprehensively the Tongcheng school language pedagogical activity and the thoughts of Chinese education. Research Chinese education of Tongcheng School to rich Tongcheng School educational research and is beneficial to today’s Chinese education.
