The generation of male and female concept is based on the human nature, with the development of human culture; it is given more and more social cultural connotation. This paper has mainly used the method of semiotics, so as to study the generation and development of the Male and female Graphics, the cultural connotation of different periods, together with the structure language form of the graphics symbols and the specific application in visual communication. The purpose is, with the discussion of the relationship between visual symbols and the mental concept, the language structure of the graphic symbols is researched, the law of the design of visual graphic symbols is generalized, with the fusion of form and content, in order to provide the necessary case samples of the art design practice and the feasibility enlightenment of the technology strategy.The thesis includes four parts besides introduction and conclusion. The first part provides the change of the male and female text graphics and its symbolic performance through the study of early male and female Graphics. In the second part, according to the concept, system and material culture, the cultural connotation of male and female graphics in graphics is discussed; different characteristics are given between men and women.
