Henan Prehistoric Settlement Study The Classification Of The Peripheral Groove Type Facilities

·Henan, located in the hinterland of the Central Plains, is the heart of the origin and development of Chinese civilization. With the depth of the archaeological work and the development of settlement archeology, there were found11prehistoric settlement ruins surrounded by grooved facilities in Henan, which had detailed information and the explicit nature, aged from the early Yangshao Culture to the Xinzhai Culture. Gully facilities in these settlements had obvious characteristics and clear evolutions, it has a very important significance to the analysis of the characteristics of settlement defense facilities and the in-depth understanding of the Henan prehistoric human settlements development and evolution.On the basis of detailed analysis of existing archaeological information, this article mainly takes environmental archaeological research to explore the characteristics of the peripheral gully facilities in Henan prehistoric settlement and divides it into some different types:Circumambient Ditch of Settlement, Moats of Settlement, in order to reveal the evolution and the reason of each type of gully facilities. In addition, this article also explores the moat of the castle ruins and the moats of a city such a special groove-like facilities which is different from the above three types but has relations with the above three types of inheritance and development. Through the classification research of peripheral groove-like facilities of Henan prehistoric human settlements, this article provides a new perspective to classified research for the entire prehistoric settlement peripheral grooved facilities.The major contents of the thesis include the following six parts:Preface, Mainly expounds Henan prehistoric settlement’s natural geographic environment, archaeological excavations and research profiles, and gives a brief description of the ideas and methods of this study.Chapter One:Henan prehistoric Circumambient Ditch of Settlement, through the analysis of the characteristics of the individual circumambient ditch of settlement, this chapter summarizes the characteristics of the surrounding ditch of Henan prehistoric human settlements, and reveals the evolution and the evolution of reason.Chapter two:Henan prehistoric Moats of Settlement, through the study of Moats of Settlement’s characteristics, analyzes the characteristics of Henan prehistoric Moats of Settlement, reveals its evolution, and explores the reasons for its evolution.Chapter three:Henan prehistoric Moats of Settlement, this chapter analyzes the specific characteristics of the Moats of Settlement, explores the characteristics and properties of Henan prehistoric Moats of Settlement, and reveals the evolution and the evolution of reason.Chapter four:Henan prehistoric Moats of a City, through the specific analysis of moats of a city, summarizes the characteristics and attributes of Henan prehistoric moats of a city.Conclusion:Summarizes the above studies.
