We should make it clear that image turn is neither childish imitation nor the copy of representation, neither corresponding to the return of the theory nor the resurgence of image presence of metaphysics. Image turn is a new discovery to post-linguistic and post-semiotics.——W.J.T MitchellIt is with profound contents both seeing and reading. The behaviors of seeing include look, watch, gaze, observe, monitor and practice of visual pleasure. The forms of reading are decode, uncover and illuminate. The graphic view landscape comes at us every day. Network media communication becomes mainstream media culture form. It is considered by website of culture exchange, knowledge broadcasting and source sharing. During globalization process, how to broadcast Chinese local culture beyond language, culture and country diversities. How to take advantage of website to make content and style unified, to make the audience recognized. All in all, it needs designer to think deeply and balanced prepare.This paper is originated from personal experience and design skill summary which during studying interaction design, user-experience and emotional design cases. It is based with audience’s cognition psychology, reading habit and etc. Besides, the excellent website design cases set perfect example to this study. Visual Literacy website English version was designed with visual representation method. Guiding visitor with visual style. Appealing by content and lighting and resonating in metaphor. By virtue of the special media, we made Chinese fabulous history and resourceful culture understood and learned by proper, unique visualization. Making efforts to global culture integrating. Stay parallel, Stay harmonious.
