Dai Ming-shi Prose Research

Dai Mingshi as an article creation achievement, not only has a great reputation in the field of literature at the time, but also has a profound impact. Studying Dai Mingshi has an important significance for understanding Literary situation of the KangXi period. But because of some reasons, the degree of concern of him does not match with his achievements. Since the eighties of last century, study of Dai Mingshi has achieved some success, but there is still room for thorough. In this thesis, on the basis of the results of previous studies, trying to make further efforts to study of Dai Mingshi.This thesis consists of four parts.The first part is the study of his life and ideas. His life was estranged there different stages, than from ethical level, academic level, political level, anglicizing his ideological system, examining his ideological origins, studying his change of attitudes.The second part is summaries and analyzes of the Literary Theory of Dai Mingshi. As a system, his theories include the following areas, such as unit of several writing elements, writers should be sincere, the pursuit of plain style and so on.The third part is inspection of the literary creation condition of Dai Mingshi. His article may divide into there kinds:biography, travels prose, essay. The literary works consider ideological and artistic.The forth part is discusses the relationship between Dai Mingshi and Tongcheng school. Analysis of Dai Mingshi’s influence is important for this subject.
