During the Qing Dynasty, Yangzhou has colorful entertainment culture. There are so many entertainment elements everywhere in people’s life. And<Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang>is the real records of Yangzhou social life on this period, especially paying huge attention to entertainment. Thanks for the author Lin Sumen, poems and articles are combined so perfectly in this book, which is rich in style and wide in view. So this paper takes it as the subject of study, mines the rich historical materials in ths book, and launches the research on the base of these materials in order to present the literature and cultural achievement of <Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang>.This paper includes three parts:introduction, the main text and the conclusion. Introduction discusses the social background which<Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang> produced, the present research situation and the meaning and value of this paper. The main text is consisted by four chapters.Chapters one traces the source of using small prefaces with poems, briefly introduces the life of Lin Sumen and his book. Since ancient times, people have used notes to recording events. So discussing the way in which they are referenced and integrated is helpful to recognize the skills and value of<Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang>.Besides, due to the experience of working north and south, Lin Sumen created this book. So the Author especially developed the life of Lin Sumen in the second section of Chapters one and analysed the cause of this book.Chapters two researches the recordings of Yangzhou entertainment culture in the<Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang>,divided into four parts:storytelling, opera performance, festivals and customs, appreciating toys. This book waved a big net, including scenes of life from different classes, different identities, different states. Especially it showed great concern to Yangzhou entertainment culture. In contrasting to<Notes of Yangzhou Pleasure-boat>,the Author shows the characteristic of<Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang>. Structured with poems, the book displays strong humanistic care. By analysing the recordings of Yangzhou entertainment culture, we could have a better understanding of entertainment and a deep thinking of the social change.Chapters three explores the artistic characteristics of<Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang>,which was composed by three sections. The first section discusses the material selection, and its characteristic of showing real life. Section two discusses the linguistic features, especially developing the joyful and humorous style. Section three discusses the art performance, especially developing the characteristic of combining poems with articles.Chapters four researches the social and cultural value of<Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang>.The first section elaborates the historical value of this book, especially its open mind. Section two presents the literary value of this book, especially developing the new form of combining poems and articles.Confusion sums up the innovation of<Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang>is combining poems and articles to record events. Dividing sections in the view of Zhuzhici, mentioning the cause in the small prefaces, using different poetic styles to record real-time events. So this book is extensive in content, close to the real life and free in narration.<Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang> not only payed a lot of attention to entertainment culture, but also reflected the entertainment. The content of this book may be utility, but its motivation is non-utility. When we appreciate this delicate writing of Yangzhou in Qianlong and Jiaqing period, we should recognized the cultural reflection and humanistic care in<Three Hundred Poems Of Hanjiang>.
