In the context of Chinese New-era Literature, Avant-garde novels had made a sensation because of its form-exploration and innovation sense in the literary world. What’s more, historical narratives get more attention as a subject or the way of speaking. Such works were obviously different from the traditional novels’narration. They usually express specific life experience from fictional historical-contextualize. This article will take specific works to research for historical narrative features about avant-garde novels.The main part in the paper is detailed analysis three features of avant-garde novels.Chapter one discusses three types of themes:hunting and wildering, exist or death, enlightenment and re-enchantment. By analyzing these topic sentences, we can recognize the textual significance about the works.Chapter two discusses three kinds of images:fantasy image and the transcendent world, brutality image and the violent senses, natural image and the unlimited space-time. By analyzing these images, we can probe into spiritual movement about the writer, and catch on aesthetic implication in the text.Chapter three discusses three ethical dimensions:individual moral’s alienation, family ethics’absurdity, public ethics’dropout. Then we can analysis why the writer want to break traditional value, which kind of ethical is the ideal form, and so on.In the conclusion part, the author argues that the important impact about text form innovation is undeniable. However, there are problems in the works, include nihilism, mysticism, ethical absence, etc.
