Luther's "two Countries" Theological Views

This thesis describes and summarizes Martin Luther’s "two kingdoms" thought by analyzing his political view in the German Peasants’ War. It recalls the guiding ideology of the German Peasants’ War, the different ideas of the Christian factions, as well as its social impacts. Then it elaborates the origins and development of Luther’s "two kingdoms" thought and its internal relationship. The article discriminates two aspects of contrary evaluation on Luther’s political thoughts and concludes with a brief response to domestic academic study in this area.
